On what turned out to be a cold (and, at times, a very wet), summer day in Melbourne a small group of family and friends gathered together to help Rachael and Dale celebrate their marriage for time and all eternity in the Melbourne Australia temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints.

The rain was pouring down when the happy couple came out to greet everyone so the first few photos were taken under cover while we waited for a break in the weather.Family photos were a must on the day. The Prebble family were first:
(note...with Dale's younger brother, Jack, away serving a mission in Vanuatu it was up to his life size cardboard cutout to complete the family group).
Then it was time for a Rattray family photo:
(thanks Beata for taking this photo)
Don't the girls look gorgeous together:
Beata, Sacha and Hannah took care of bridesmaids duties on the day!
and the boys...

Danny, Brad W, Dale & Brad D. ...looking very handsome in the suits they acquired from the DFO just 2 days before the wedding, LOL

A sunny break in the weather allowed everyone to move to a different location for some more photo opportunities.
With so many cameras to look at our official photographer Sarah did a great job taking photos of this rowdy bunch!
Sisters...
Hannah, Rachael and Sacha..
Hannah with Dale's sisters - Sam & Lizzie
Lunch...provided by the Quest apartments was delicious and very relaxed with everyone able to serve themselves (and go back for seconds)!
The Cake...
The wedding cake was baked at my sister, Carolyn's, farm in a joint effort by Hannah, Sacha and Rachael. After a number of preliminary cake disasters and practice cakes this was the final result:
A delicious, chocolate mud cake...Yum!
A lovely day was had by all who attended. Rach & Dale headed off on a honeymoon cruise straight after the wedding. We are now looking forward to celebrating Dale & Rachael's official reception with all their Tassie friends and family on the 11th of February!
Stay tuned for Part 2...
